Yesterday, Cory Wong & the Metropole Orkest officially released the album ‘Live in Amsterdam’! This is a live concert recording, in which I participated.
New Album: Cory Wong + Metropole Orkest
Heritage Sinfonietta
In January, chamber orchestra Heritage Sinfonietta performed in Roermond, celebrating their 1st birthday. We played works by Schubert, Mozart and Pärt.
Since March, I am working for this orchestra as part of the production team! Keep an eye on the website: www.heritagesinfonietta.nl
Gedeelde Oorlog
In January, the project ‘Gedeelde Oorlog’ started in Limburg: video footage from World War II, combined with newly composed music by Ton Verhiel.
Performances in Venlo and Roermond have taken place; the remaining performances will be postponed due to the Coronavirus.

Kamerata Zuid & Memphis Maniacs, Metropole Orkest with Kovacs and Cory Wong
In november and december, I had the honour of playing with the Metropole Orkest and various great artists: funk guitarist Cory Wong and singer Cody Fry, and the Dutch singer Sharon Kovacs.
In March, Kamerata Zuid started the tour with mash-up band Memphis Maniacs. Unfortunately, due to the Corona virus most of the tour had to be cancelled.
